Inderpal Singh is the Founder and Director of Singh Corporate. A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, he has over two decades of experience in professional services, specialising in the energy and resources sectors. Inderpal has an established track record of delivering high quality assurance services and advice to clients, while providing strong leadership to his team.

Inderpal has led the audit of some of the largest projects in Australia and internationally, including the North West Shelf, Wheatstone, Bass Strait and PNG LNG. He has also undertaken various audit assignments in Africa and Asia representing international oil and gas companies. This has involved leading teams of consultants from around the world. These engagements typically involve a comprehensive knowledge of joint venture accounting, joint operating agreements, production sharing contracts, drilling operations, vendor contracts and cost allocation methodologies.  

Prior to founding Singh Corporate, Inderpal held the role of Financial Controller at Tribune Resources at a time when the company was transforming from a junior explorer to a highly profitable producer.

Inderpal spent a decade in academia holding the position of Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Western Australia until late 2014. Prior to UWA, Inderpal worked at Curtin University. The academic roles involved both teaching and research in accounting and auditing.  

Inderpal has extensive experience in executive education. He has taught executives at Origin Energy, Lukoil, Romgaz, Tokyo Gas, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Petronas, Australian Taxation Office, KPMG, PwC and CNOOC courses in joint venture accounting, auditing and oil and gas economics. He has also taught senior executives from BHP Billiton, Horizon Power, Clough Engineering, Deloitte Consulting, among others, courses in accounting and financial management for executives with non-finance backgrounds.    

When Inderpal is not at work, you will find him supporting Liverpool Football Club and planning his next trip to Anfield.
