Ann-Marie is an international financial and commercial professional who is a highly experienced member of our team. She has a unique combination of oil and gas industry business experience, financial know-how and audit experience. Ann-Marie has a track record of delivering results, particularly in the drilling & completions and inventory management areas. She has a total of 25 years’ finance experience as a professional including over a decade as an auditor. She has varied international experience and has worked in Australia, Kenya, UK, USA, Singapore and Sweden.  

Ann-Marie was a Senior System Accountant for Gulf Australia, establishing and managing the Joint Venture accounting and billing system for a small Non-Operator company, as it became Operator of two FPSOs in the Timor Sea, thereby significantly increasing the Joint Venture participants’ confidence in the Operator. After her time as a Senior System Accountant for Gulf, she became a Finance Manager and Principal Auditor for Woodside Energy, leading and participating in audits covering all operations phases including exploration, development, projects, drilling, production, operations, logistics and inventory management. Her efforts provided assurance to management and the Board that the internal control environment was working as expected.  

Ann-Marie has conducted numerous Joint Venture, Contract and Project audits as an independent auditor for major multinational corporations, as well as performing Joint Venture Audits in Australia. Focusing on drilling operations, cost allocations, Opex and process reviews, Ann-Marie identified approximately US $5million in claims on wells drilled by other operators. Other outcomes include improved business and financial control over subsidiaries and partnerships.  

When she takes a break from reviewing well reconciliations, you will find her on the beach in Perth or travelling and exploring new places.
